The perfect pamper!

The recent snow days and Isla having chickenpox meant that we were forcibly locked up for a few days and what better time to start pampering myself again! It’s a shame that it takes a dumping of snow for people to slow down but I won’t complain as I had the best pamper I’ve had in a long time. I often receive messages asking about my favourite skin and hair products so I thought I would use this post to share them with those who are interested!

I’m sure I’m not the only one that feels like a quick leg shave and splash of moisturiser is a decent pamper at the best of times but that wouldn’t be much fun to write about (or read about!) so you’ll be pleased to know it was a tad more exciting than that!

I have listed the products below in the order that I used them. All products are linked –

Clearasil Rapid Action Scrub

For some god awful reason the menstrual monster decided to chase me down this month and I’ve had a few tough spots that just won’t budge. This scrub is amazing and does exactly what it promises by reducing the appearance of spots within 12 hours. It has small exfoliating beads that work to clear blocked pores and it smells like a nice aftershave! I definately recommend for anymore with stubborn spots!

Charlotte Tilbury Instant Magic Facial Dry Sheet Mask

I know I’ve posted about these before but twice won’t hurt! They are my absolute favourite face mask ever and deserve another mention. The mask is dry like fabric and is full of vitamins, floral extracts, peptides, oils and butters which leaves my skin feeling and looking a million times healthier and brighter. I leave it on for 15 minutes and massage the oils left on my face into my skin.

20 minutes later I apply the following –

Elemis Pro Collegan Hydra Gel Eye Masks

If you suffer from tired eyes, these are a game changer! My eyes have always been quite droopy but these work quickly to reduce the appearance of fine lines and I feel like my eyes are left visably smoother and more awake! After the age of 20 your body produces less and less collegan (the stuff that keeps you looking young!) so a little top up every now and then won’t go amiss!

Elizabeth Arden 8hr Cream

This is an absolute must for lips! It’s a skin protectant which restores and calms dry or chapped skin. It can be used anywhere but I love it best for helping to even out my lips and make them super soft.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream

Last but no means least, I smother my face in this stuff! I don’t think I’ve ever got to the bottom of a pot of moisturiser before but this one doesn’t stand a chance. I can’t explain my love for it but all I know is that it gives me the confidence in my naked skin that I’ve always wanted!

L’Oréal Pro Keratin Refill Hair Mask

I’ve recently taken my hair slightly lighter and it’s left it feeling dry. If not treated, dry hair turns brittle and will break off which we definately don’t want! This mask is amazing at restoring and nourishing your hair back to strong, soft locks as it’s specially formulated to treat weak and damaged hair. Once I have washed my hair, I apply this mask all over excluding my roots. I leave it to soak in for 10 minutes and then wash it out thoroughly – my hair feels so much softer afterwards and is also 70% more resistant to breakage. That fact is thanks to L’Oréal, I haven’t made it up!

Hi Smile Teeth Whitening Kit

This is so easy and quick to use it’s unreal! And it works! I’m not ashamed of my teeth but I’m not in love with them either if that makes sense. I’m not one for teethy smiles but once I’ve whitened them I definately feel more confident to show them off. I’ve used other whitening products in the past and I’ve experienced shooting pains and lots of sensitivity afterwards but I didn’t have any of that with this product. The guard is comfortable to wear and the whitening paste doesn’t taste too bad either! It’s not recommended that you eat the paste lol but accidents happen!

I also fake tanned but I won’t bore you with that routine as I’ve posted it on here once before!

Schedule some time in for you, it’s so worth it!

Lots of love
